Those who have read Rootbound will know that Chelsea Physic Garden is one of my favourites in the city (there’s a little video to show you why here) so it’s magic to be there in conversation with one of its custodians, Maya Thomas. Maya was the first woman who I spoke to about the book, when it was a very nascent, vulnerable little idea, and in many ways she has ushered it along into existence. This is going to be special.
